Friendly Biostatistics for Health Sciences: Master, PhD Students and Professionals. With practical examples in SPSS
During my beginnings in research, especially during my Masters and PhD studies, I had to work with hundreds of references, books and software in order to learn to apply the appropriate statistical tests for my research. I studied statistics at the University with a lot of formulas difficult to understand and to apply in a practical way. Although knowing the formulas is a good thing that allows you to have a greater capacity in its interpretation, this means a large investment of time that many students or professionals do not have.

If you are starting a research work related to health sciences and you find in statistics a difficult obstacle to jump, this is your course, which I have developed in an eminently practical way based on 3 main points.
- SELECTION. Learning to choose the appropriate statistical test for each research question.
- CONDUCTION. Following the necessary steps to carry out the test through SPSS
- INTERPRETATION. Understanding the significance of the results, not only from a mathematical point of view but clinical.
- WRITING. Reporting the results for scientific publications
The course will also serve as a reference guide to which you can access when you need to carry out a particular statistical test and do not remember the necessary steps to do so.
Who is this course for?
Students or professionals who develop research in Health Sciences: Medicine, Psychology, Speech Therapy, Obstetrics, Optometry, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Podiatry, Nutrition Sciences, Pharmacy, Clinical Laboratory, Veterinary, etc.
What this course will cover?
This course is an introduction of Descriptive and Inferential statistics and the statistical tests covered are the most common in scientific research.
